Beach entrance is NOT included with shelter rentals. The cost to enter the beach area for Non-Residents of the City of Canandaigua is $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 6-18 and free to children 5yrs & under. City residents may purchase resident tags at the Bathhouse for $1 with proof of residency.
Online reservations REQUIRE advance deposits. Paper reservations will accept a separate check or credit card info on file. Paper copies of the rental forms are available online at CanandaiguaNewYork.gov. Questions: 585-396-5060

Online Rentals: If you have not selected the correct fees for your residency and/or deposit, your reservation will NOT be approved. You will receive an email from RecDesk once approved.
Any ONLINE deposits that are refunded more than 120 days after the date it was reserved will be refunded via check. Refunds for online deposits made within 120 days of the date it was reserved will automatically be refunded back to the card that was used to purchase. If that card is not a valid card for refunds, please contact the Department of Public Works BEFORE your reservation date. Refunds are only able to be issued once!
(Non-refundable cancellation fee of $10. No refund given if cancellation is within two weeks of reservation.)
